Personal Information collected and not collected

  • Framer, this site's hosting platform, does not track, collect, or store any personal identifiable information from site visitors.

  • Your IP address is required to display this website to your computer, but for site analytics, Framer hashes the IP address and user agent with a daily rotating secret (salt) that resets and deletes every day.

  • To interact with site visitors and customers, Elizabeth Nguyen uses Proton email, Instagram, and Ko-fi for direct messaging. Tally forms are used to collect inquiries, requests, and other messages which are then forwarded to Proton email to enable replies. Information provided directly from the customer may include names, contact data & preferences such as email addresses, phone numbers, social media handles; job titles, and company name.

  • For receiving and processing payment for contracted services or with Ko-fi donations, Elizabeth Nguyen accepts transactions through payment portals such as Stripe and Paypal and through direct bank deposits. Your billing information is collected in order to process payments, which may include: names, email addresses, billing addresses, phone numbers, company name, and bank & billing details.

Use of Personal Information

With additional privacy laws in Europe (The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK GDPR) and in Canada (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Consumer Privacy Protection Act (CPPA)), personal information is collected and processed based on these legal bases:

  • with provided consent from you.

  • in order to initiate or complete a contract where you are involved.

  • in order to comply to a legal obligation where you are involved.

  • for the purposes of legitimate interests of Elizabeth Nguyen or sub-processors, except when such interests are overridden by your own interests, rights, or freedoms.

International Transfers

This site's servers are located in the United States. So please be aware, if you are accessing our site from outside the United States, that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed by Elizabeth Nguyen and by third-party sub-processors in the United States among other countries.

While the United States is not considered to have adequate data protection laws by the European Commission, your personal information is still protected by necessary measures, such as European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers between Elizabeth Nguyen and third-party sub-processors.

Data Retention

  • Your personal data is kept for as long as necessary in order to fulfill the duties listed in this privacy notice. General direct messages may be kept for at most 2 years in case of follow up messages. Your data may also be kept for longer if required for tax/financial or legal reasons. Otherwise it will be deleted or the data will be turned anonymous.

  • Your data is kept safe through security measures made by the above sub-processors and by Elizabeth Nguyen, but there is no guarantee that your data is 100% secure against data breaches. Your information may need to be shared when required by law or by legal authorities. If any of these situations occur, you will be notified.

  • Elizabeth Nguyen does not knowingly collect data from children under 16 years of age without parental consent. In the United States, Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule ("COPPA") does not permit collection of data from children under 13 without parental consent. In Europe, data cannot be collected from children under 16 (can vary per country) without parental consent. While COPPA has a "one-time contact" exception in the case of one-off question-and-answer situations, there is no straightforward way to confirm the country or age of every person who messages Elizabeth Nguyen. If she learns that collection of a minor's data was done without parental consent or does not fall into the "one-time contact" exception for the United States, she will delete that data promptly from our records. Please notify Elizabeth Nguyen at if you are aware of data being unknowingly collected by this site from a minor.
